Here's another picture of Ivan, before our lives took a tragic turn. He seem to had developed well, as far as we were concern. He had good motor co-ordinationm eye contact, and he knew who was who in his surroundings. He loved the playground, watch the TV and play with toys, just like any other toddler.
We had no idea that this boy would take us on a journey we never imaged. It's kinda like Narnia! There was no wardrobe, but we stepped into another world.
A world, we at first didn't understand. A world that was full of suprises and a world with no friends. A world of professionals, therapists, doctors, hours of repetition, lack of sleep and unending worry. We learned to cope and to draw strength from each other. And we prevailed the foundation years. We didn't do every thing right, but we did our best. I wish to say that you too, no matter what happens, you only need to remember that you did your best.
